EDIT: Facebook reports from their office indicate total accumulation of about 2.5 inches at the NWS office down the road.

A bigger storm could be on the way late next week - probably on Friday/Saturday. Some heavier accumulations could be possible by then, assuming the 540 line stays to our south.

Back in Grand Forks, so time to post. Big storm on the way here. Although 6 inches of snow is nothing to sneeze at, the main story will be the cold air filtering in behind the system...and sticking around for quite a while! Attached is the Winter Storm Watch and the NWS forecast for the next week.
