New storm alert music huh? I wasn't expecting that. When did this start? I heard it for the first time a few minutes ago. I don't remember hearing this earlier this morning.

It started exactly at 3:08 PM Eastern Time. Had TWC on all afternoon. To me TWC is watchable for once.  :bleh:

That was a interesting LF.. started out with the prod music for a few seconds, and then went to a different song for a few seconds and then changed again..

That happened to me on the 12th. It was silent then it went to some song which I swear had a jazz guitar sound then it went to something acoustic. Weird.

Something's going on. IntelliStar showed the satellite feed, then cued late. Seems like they just sent out a mass update.

The Weatherscan and IS computers are rebooting at the same time and it's happening about every 2min.
WeatherScan was showing the national TWC SD feed and TWC SD was showing the national LDL.

Did the XL have a "wintry mix to rain" icon? For some reason I faintly remember seeing one on air but don't have the icon and don't see footage of it anywhere...

I don't think so. Just a rain to snow and snow to rain.

Yes it does. Well, it just uses the "Wintry Mix" icon with a different label. I think any forecast condition involving wintry mix used that one icon. You'll see it used in two different ways in the clips below. The "wintry Mix to rain"  is used in the first clip below in The Week Ahead and the second video shows "Wintry Mix & Wind" with the same icon on the daypart forecast

Just had a silent LF at 11:18 PM CST, at least for the national feed on my end.  No music, not even the chime to introduce the LF.  Was this problem on my end only, or have silent LFs happened before during longform?

Does anyone know if TWC will even have a Christmas playlist? Or maybe just use holiday production stuff

Noticed on the 7:58 ET LOT8's the jingle played for the welcome screen then there was no music on the national HD feed and the SD IS feed.

I Have Directv and i did you know that the LF is almost in sync? because right at the end i noticed that you get the regional forecast at the end from the National Forecast. and because i have DIRECTV i do have to watch it powered by my box.
