Just to bring up this crazy thing I just saw on the LDL. HiRAD is reporting Medford, NY with a thunderstorm right now, when there is clearly nothing on the radar.  :dunno:

EDIT: It appears the LDL is stuck on 2 days ago! The forecast on the LDL called for 73°F with a 100% chance of Thunderstorms, which was the forecast for 6/25/12! The LDL is still on during the commercial breaks. The forecast on the LDL also includes a forecast for Tuesday, which already happened!!! Deja Vu

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

Is the LDL frozen? I would definitely report that to the STAR Team.
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Code Red ozone was just issued for Memphis. I'm going to get a recording of it!

EDIT: The IS is just showing a Code Orange, but you can clearly see here that it's in effect for today and tomorrow.

Double post, sorry. Code PURPLE in effect for the Memphis area. Oh, how I wish the IS didn't update at 4:00. Otherwise, I'd be recording a rare video.

That's been happening a lot on my IS lately. The first time I saw it happening, the LDL stayed on for more than a day. When it was supposed to be on, there would appear to be two "lights" under the yellow city bar.

I feel incredibly stupid for not noticing this sooner, but I never realized there's a fade in/out transition on the time shown on the HD LF. I noticed it for the first time yesterday while doing a test video recording on my HD PVR.

With some color tweaking, I think it would look pretty good.

With the current templates being used? Absolutely not, that burnt contrast of colors doesn't work.

The templates would probably be different if that background was used.

Was it in effect for Wednesday and it had already switched over to Thursday's AQF? If so, it must of have been after 4pm ET when you tried to catch it, that's usually when the forecast products update to the following day.
