Have they been using it today?

Haven't seen it yet, i won't be surprised if it was only being tested for Ice Pilots.

I've noticed this weekend the music on the LF for all day parts has been the same coming from the evening playlist.
Will they be changing it up soon?

it would be nice if TWC did notify us a playlist change is coming, the current rotation issues are really annoying.
Speaking of which, its becoming an everyday trend for me to notice that "Come Into My World" plays at 11:48 AM ET and "Time Is Tight" at 11:58 AM ET...
This is not the first time that has happened. I remember that back in day (1998), a Bryan Savage song would play practically every Saturday morning at some time between 7am and 8am.  ;)
Hmm, that wasnt the case today.. the Smokey's Farmland Band daytime song played at 11:48 but the dayparts are still mixed up because Enchanted played at 6:08 AM ET (another song at a typical time :itsok:) and a primetime song played at 11:28 AM ET (cant remember which one though)

The LDL Squeeze back was not used 11am-2pm, It's back for the 2pm-5pm edition of Day Planner used at 8min after the hour.

Both, actually. The LDL didn't receive the signal to shut off for commercials when the feed went blank.

I think I heard a new song on the HD LF at 5:48 CST. The Standford-definition LF didn't play one at that time.

Sorry, nevermind. False alarm I am ready for a playlist change, though. I did hear a song that I don't recall 10 mins ago, but I guess it wasn't a new one.

Nope, I was right the first time! New songs are in the mix. Just heard "11, 12 & 13" by David Holmes. I love that song. :) I didn't hear it on standard LF though.

Yeah, Wichita, KS and Topeka, KS were both doing the same thing that day. I chalked it up to the solar storm.

Just saw 24131 use the old LOT8s logo. O_o

I chalked it up to the solar storm.
It's not just the solar storm to blame.. it was this time of year for the vernal equinox "sun outages" to occur where the sun is in perfect alignment with many communication satellites, thus overpowering the signal. They usually happen in early March and late September, and for 5-15 minutes each afternoon for about a week.

Today will be exactly 9 years since I ran into TWCClassics, which enabled me to obtain all the classics I thought I could never obtain.

One upon a time The Weather Channel ran regular PSAs during the equinoxes reminding people of how the sun disrupted satellite signals temporarily.

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?
