I saw the Ocala, FL IntelliStar (ID #22417) again today and its LDL cities were different than they were back in April.. they are now Ocala, Silver Springs and Gainesville. They previously were Ocala, Orlando D'town and Downtown Tampa. However, when I saw its almanac, the city on it was Leesburg.. doesn't Ocala have an airport of their own?
I'm not sure...but the observation site that the NWS uses for the Ocala area is: Ocala Municipal Automatic Weather Observing. But Leesburg is a good distance away from Ocala, about halfway between Ocala and Orlando.

Leesburg's records probably go back farther than Ocala's, so they chose the former.

Saw a really weird 36-Hour Forecast last night...

Tonight
Rain and a few thunderstorms. Winds E at less than 5 MPH, increasing to 10 to 20 MPH as the night progresses. Low 45.

As for the winds, I've seen the opposite occur (10 to 20 mph decreasing to less than 5 mph).

BTW, was the temperature info really after the wind info?

Yes it was. It was very odd. I'll see if by chance I recorded it.

The IS LDL shown on programming appears to be glitching again. It has not turned off before commercial breaks and is preventing the IS from cuing. It's November 6 all over again...  :bleh:

Did anyone catch the strange glitch on the 7:28 PM HD LF? The LF started out properly, but just as the NE region radar was transitioning into the weather for tomorrow, the radar froze; and the LF remained stuck at that screen for most of the local forecast (with the exception of the LDL, which was working properly)

It happens occassionally.

It's still frozen on the NE Radar on TWC HD.

UPDATE: A completely different glitch occured on the 7:58 PM LF; this one was even stranger than the 7:28 PM error. The LF worked properly for about 2 or 3 seconds, and then the area on top of the LDL turned black, and then turned gray. A national map (seen on 1-minute LFs) then appeared, and the LDL froze at the same time. About a half second later, Trammell cut in - and it stayed on the Trammell feed for the rest of the LF. I wonder what the hell is going on with the HD LF.

For a few seconds after the initial trigger of Trammell at this LF, the HD LF returned again (frozen on one of the spinning-globe transitions), but only for a split second before Trammell came back.

Also, this is the 7:48 error

Zach, how were you able to get your clip of First Snow unmuted? I see it got tagged at least but they muted my clip of it. <_<
