I bet this won't be permanent, TWC is just trying to scare you  :P

My honest opinion it will be gone in the next couple weeks and we could put this little charade to rest.

cuz that's where I actually had a passion of the weather, from observing and learning the weather information that was displayed on my XL and IS over the years. Also, if I was majoring in meteorology I would be inclined to check the LOT8s more often for weather forecasts and observations.

That's interesting. I'm a meteorology major, but just so you know, under no circumstances do we use information from TWC and Local on the 8s. National Weather Service products and official models are all that are used.

That doesn't really make any sense to me. I'm not sure why any meteorologist would base their forecast solely off of what TWC says. Any average Joe can do that.

I've already known. :P Wasn't it supposed to be used on low-rated shows or something? I would think that FO wouldn't have high ratings, then again WCL has high ratings, but it's using the SB.

OK, so one moment someone says this is going to be permanent, and the next moment someone else says this is only temporary. Now I'm really confused :blink: I guess as with any change, we'll just have to wait and see...

Also, I am even more confused with those of you who are quoting my posts (Kevin and skywarnal) but then either saying the same thing I did, even though it looks like you're trying to argue with me, or getting upset and then mentioning something that doesn't even have to do with what you quoted.

I was agreeing with you. Which is what I started out saying bluntly and pretty much leaving it at that, but after about 10 re-edits it ended up just being my own rant. It was late. haha Had nothing to do with any arguments with you... cause I have none. In fact, after re-reading your post quote then what I said... I fail to see how it had nothing to do with your post. I'm sorry if you feel that way, let me know if you'd like me to remove your quote and I will gladly do so. :dunno:

No, it's fine...no worries. :) What you said actually had to do with my quote; I was talking about skywarnal for that part.

But anyway, I hope we can find out soon what the deal is with this squeezeback. Too bad they can't make a 2 minute flavor of it; that would give viewers more information.
