There's something I don't understand. Why is it that the phrase "Near record high/low temperatures expected" never shows up on my IntelliStar? I always see the record low/high screen, but never that phrase on the text local forecast. For example TWC is forecasting 55 tonight which would break the record low of 56 set back in 1984, I'm seeing that record low screen, but I'm not seeing that phrase being used on the text forecast. I've seen it on other IntelliStars.

Are you talking about the "graphically updated XL?"
If so, I don't think that statement is correct.

There may be an actual XL in the video but the "graphically enhanced" part of it is not a real XL unit. Chazz gave him the project code, if I am not mistaken.

No, it is all from his unit. the only thing Chazz did was give him the graphics... it is part of the XL unit

1. Chazz made new graphics
2. He sent them to this person who already had an XL v3 unit
3. He put Chazz's graphics into his personal XL unit, much in the same way that TWC updates STAR Graphics

End of story. Zach is right. (OT: I'm typing on my iPad and Zach is autocorreting to Zachary )

Glad you're all smart enough to do such things. I wouldn't know how to do that like I don't know the answer to x times x devided by y without numbers.

Trust me, I definitely could NOT do any such a think with an XL, much less get it functioning or succesfully complete a graphics overhaul...I just read the video description.

I wish I could find an XL already. The only ones I have come across are broken, the harddrives are out, or the system refuses to boot. Besides, I'd like to know how the people who have one connect to their television. Coaxial cable?
