This morning, I've noticed that the animation of the radar on my IntelliStar has been very jumpy. I don't know if it's a problem with the actual radar data or the IntelliStar itself.

It's been that way here in Topeka, too. I thought maybe it was just the showers and storms moving a lot faster than the radar sites were updating but I guess not.

Has anyone noticed that the SD Satellite LF got a minor update this morning? The severe weather/radar maps are more darker now as is the radar maps.

As I had wondered, the new basemaps have migrated their way over the the SD SatLF. Thanks for the video.

Is this pointing the finger to a possible full satellite LF overhaul?

And also, I don't see anything changed with the radar basemaps....

It's possible that the Satellite LF could get another update sometime soon, perhaps this is the beginning of a series of updates

The regional forecast/radar basemaps on the sat LF haven't been updated since 2004... they are well overdue for changes.

Their topography was adjusted back in 2008 when the new HD graphics came along and later adjusted in 2009 for the current topography we see now

Yeah but I don't think anything was changed to the regional forecast maps.

I came with my sister for her college orientation, and our hotel has an XL! It is on Coaxial Cable TV in Edinboro, PA (in Erie County). CC site is Erie and forecast site is Edinboro. I'll get a cell phone video later on.

Ok, so this is what I am doing.

I am going to do a "kindof" LAT48's, but with only 4 clips. And it will be in one clip. And they will be played at the same time! But how? Well, I am looking for 3 other people that recorded the 8:48AM/7:48AM CT LF on July 8, 2010. If you recorded during this time, please send the clip to trevorbirchett@yahoo.com. After I get all of the clips, I will put them into Sony Vegas and crop them where I can fit 4 STAR's on one screen. Then, I will upload the video to YouTube! Thanks SO much!

When do you think the new August Playlist will start?

Knowing TWC's pattern with changing playlists these days, probably not for another 2-3 weeks.

Yeah maybe the second or third week of august. I know a lot of jazz artists who sent their CDs to twc but they got nothing back from them. Maybe twc hasn't gotten around to assembling the playlist yet.
