You're both wrong...it's from the Sharon, PA XL. Youngstown, OH has had the Istar for years, and Youngstown, PA is served by the Greensburg Istar.

Hmm, how recently was the Youngstown, OH STAR upgraded? My mom seems to remember the 4000 graphics there at some point.

Wow, must have been a while then. Say, do you know how often TWC updates the temperature records on the Intellistar almanacs? I noticed that on 12/27, the old record of 55 (set in 1959) was still showing on my almanac for the airport here, but it was broken by a new record of 61 back in 2008.

Every few years I think..they probably haven't done it recently since all focus has been on the HD STAR.

Anyone know if the Heat Safety Tips screen is still on any current IntelliStar playlist/flavor lineup?

That's a good question... I would think so.

Anyways, wow, I just learned something new today about the Intellistar. As I'm sure everyone already knows, London, Canada is my regional map. I found it interesting that moderate snow was being shown on my regional map on the LF at 7:48 PM EST there, so I decided to check out the report from Environment Canada for London Int'l (I attached a picture of the forecast page with the CC). I notice that London Int'l was actually reporting Light Snow. So then I look at the visibility reading, and see it is 0.4 km, which I then found out was equivalent to a quarter mile. Here I thought the Intellistar only took into account the temperature and the actual CC report all this time. Interesting, imo

Its still on the lineup as far as I know. However the priority is so low that you rarely will see it.

For those of you who haven't seen "blizzard" or "blowing snow" in a local forecast here you go:

I'm sure that "blizzard" icon would like even nicer if it animated the snow going all over the place.

Here's the problem with animation of icons on the LF app: look closely in this video, and the icon at the beginning doesn't even look fully transparent.

HOLY **** IT'S SNOWING IN FLORIDA!!!!
