It could be a Christmas only list...meaning they'll only play on that day

I asked TWCi about it on Twitter, but they ignored it/never replied.

They probably don't know or have an answer yet. You can try firing an email to Brian Picard if that works

Interesting... the Pittsburgh regional map was updated today, removing Elkins WV, replacing it with Clarksburg WV, and adding Washington DC.

You know, I was wondering a couple things:
In the picture I am attaching of my metro map (here in Lansing), what is that icon used for Grand Rapids? I've seen that icon several times, and can't figure out what it is. I know it is not Wintry Mix.

Also, are HiRAD guesses gathered for the actual location for a city, or just for where the city is placed on the map? If that's the case, then data is being gathered for Clare in the Bay City map I attached. Mt Pleasant should be where the circle is.

That could be the Snow/Sleet icon, it's hard to tell the difference between that one and the Wintry Mix. :hmm:

Now that I think about it, looking at the temperature being guessed for Grand Rapids, it must be a rain/sleet icon. There is a much more notable difference when the icons are animated.

As for the other question I had, I'm really curious.

Interesting, I always love seeing changes like that. Not sure why Elkins was removed, that was fine as it was. DC was a smart addition though. Can you get a clip?

Anyone notice the rare icon used?

I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Wow, yet another STAR I have found that does not have the AQ forecast product available. What's interesting to me is that this unit doesn't seem to be displaying any of the outdoor activity/schoolday forecast products either... yet this STAR is not at all acting like the one I found in Port Huron. In Port Huron, the 8 city appeared on nearly every 90 second and 2 minute LF.

I'm pretty sure the OA/SD forecast was discontinued from regular usage on all the STARs. I haven't seen it on mine since like October.

As for the eight city observations, you're not seeing that because of the weather bulletin screen.

My IntelliStar still shows the School Day/Outdoor Activity Forecast on a regular basis.

Yeah, I am still seeing them on mine as well. What's more, I don't recall seeing the daypart forecast at all in Marquette
