During YWT at about 6:50 CT, there was a mic fail followed by a black screen, which triggered some Trammel for about a minute, with the ads/show name and the special blue bar (not the LDL). It then went back to YWT. Stephanie was saying "We apologize for the technical—" and it went back to Trammel for a few seconds and then ended with Stephanie saying that the issue would be fixed.

Sorry, I didn't hear a Trammell song or anything, but are Trammell sightings much rarer on the IS 2? I think they both run on different music systems because I remember a time when the regular IS had a Trammell outage and the HD local forecast was fine. I hardly ever hear Trammell anymore because all I watch is the IS2 now.

IIRC, they used to have their own seperate music systems, resulting in hearing a different song on each feed. I think this was changed on 6/2/08 (or somewhere around there).

I wish still they did that, recording songs would be MUCH easier then

Damn, you beat me to it.

At the same time on the satellite feed, the SD national LF failed to cue, so there was a black screen with an ad, and then Trammel.

I have to wonder what's causing all of these emergency feeds.  "All of these" is in comparison to the 1980s and 1990s, when I watched TWC religiously.  Back then, it seemed like a technical problem disrupting programming happened on an extraordinarily rare basis, or at least it was done in such a way that the audience wouldn't know.

But now we have a whole thread about emergency feeds.  Hmm...  :dunno:

Last night at 6:30, no LWU. Last song in the lineup (name escapes me), beginning of "Jumpin'"
