EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON FROM 1020 AM UNTIL 500 PM EDT.
TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 55 STATUTE
MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ATHENS OHIO TO 30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF LAKEHURST NEW JERSEY. FOR A

OUTFLOW/CLOUDS NOW PERSISTING OVER MUCH OF PA. SEVERE THREAT WILL
EVOLVE IN MULTIPLE MODES...INCLUDING SUPERCELLS AND SMALL BOW ECHOES. THEREFORE...LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED TORNADOES WILL ALL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER CORES TODAY.

Saturday:
A mix of clouds and some sticky sunshine. Warm and humid with a round of potentially severe afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Some storms may contain damaging wind gusts, hail, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Highs around 75 at the shore to 85 on the mainland with a steady southwest breeze around 15-25mph. A few storms may produce wind gusts over 60mph, and there's even the small chance of a brief isolated tornado as well.
Saturday Night:
Evening t-storms, some severe, will end as skies become partly to mostly clear. Mild with overnight lows around 60-65, with winds shifting from southwest to northwest around 10-15mph, with much higher gusts in any evening t-storms.
Sunday:
Partly sunny, breezy, still warm, but less humid with highs around 79-83, both at the shore and on the mainland with an offshore northwest wind around 10-15mph.
Monday:
Another partly sunny, warm, and dry day with highs around 75-80 and a light northwest breeze.
Tuesday:
Sunshine fading behind increasing afternoon and evening clouds which could eventually lead to some showers or thunderstorms overnight(though the day will remain dry). Highs in the low to mid 70s, with an onshore wind developing by afternoon.
Wednesday:
Mostly cloudy and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. Highs around 70-75.
Thursday:
Partly sunny, breezy, and drier with highs in the upper 60s at the shore to the upper 70s on the mainland.
