How strong were the winds?

30-40 sustained
gusts up to 70

We've had stronger winds than this associated with severe storms, but this lasted for over 2 days.

It was quite warm yesterday (a high of almost 70! :o ), and today, the temp took a big dip. The high was 30-something, I think.

I saw tornado video near Chicago.

Near Rockford, about 90 miles NW of Chicago.

About 3 inches of snow here.

South Bend will be getting 10-15 inches of lake effect.

Temps well below average.

Near zero tonight!

I've got several 3-4 foot snow drifts in my backyard.  Northwest Indiana got nailed by lake effect.  It's still falling east of me.

No more 50 mph wind gusts.

WOW, that's some serious lake effect.
