How'd you find that when it's unlisted?

I did a random Google search and came to this page which has the video embedded:

http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/277671-Weather-Channel-Weather-Scan/page2

So I thought I'd pass it along to this site, even though the user kept the video as unlisted  :P

On weather.com's knowledge base, it says if your cable company doesn't carry Weatherscan they "recommend that you contact your local service provider and let them know that you would like to get Weatherscan." Does this mean I can ask the customer support team for Charter Communications in Astoria and ask if they could carry Weatherscan? Just curious...

Yes, that would be the best department to contact.

We don't have Weatherscan down here in Daytona Beach, and I really wish we did, especially now.

Our local cable company runs its own "travel weather" channel, which has really improved very recently, but it's still travel weather, not a channel about local weather.  Once upon a time, two local broadcast stations ran their own local weather digital substations.  Then, just under two years ago, it was down to one.  And now we're down to zero.  The Weather Channel certainly doesn't offer 24-hour local weather anymore, unless you want to rely on the LDL every ten minutes or so throughout large parts of the day.

So, we're now down to zero channels you can turn on at any time to quickly get the current weather and a quick forecast.  Weatherscan would be quite welcome right now, but I guarantee Bright House isn't going to be adding it anytime soon.  Or at all.

Nothing on YouTube that I found.  All I could do would be to shoot some video from my camera and hope for the best in terms of quality.

Basically, the channel shows weather maps of central Florida with upcoming forecasts, and then shows airport conditions around the region, the country, and some international destinations, too.

Hmm, it appears as if the local radar map got zoomed in on the Tampa weatherscan..  I'm thinking it might be like that now because of the addition of new cities to the unit and I'd assume that Sarasota, Pasco, and Polk Counties have different map views for those other cities than Tampa.

I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Jackson, MS got WeatherScan on Tuesday, per a friend of mine. It's on channel 100 strangely. Notice how at the top it says "Your Local Forecast" instead of "Jackson". Again, I didn't record this, it was recorded by a friend of mine.

Weatherscan for Jackson, MS

Last night, in anticipation of the time change, I DVR'd Weatherscan. I caught the Central Time change at 2:00 local time, but I also caught this. Somehow my unit got confused during the Eastern Time change (presumably something to do with TWC changing their time since they are in Eastern Time).

TWC - Memphis Weatherscan goes crazy during Eastern Time change! (Weatherscan Reboot)

It's kind of a long video, so here are some key times in the video at which something is actually going on:
0:20 - Eastern Time change occurs
0:22 - The unit tries to go to Current Conditions, but goes back to the Extended Forecast
0:38 - The 5 Day Forecast disappears
0:39 - The products disappear
2:11 - The 5 Day Forecast reappears
2:12 - The products reappear, appearing to rush through the products that it missed
2:16 - The products again disappear
2:26 - The 5 Day Forecast again disappears
3:11 - Everything disappears except for the CC ticker
3:21 - The CC ticker freezes and the music stops
3:53 - The unit reboots
4:22 - The unit returns to normal
7:23 - The Current Conditions, for some reason, become unavailable
12:22 - The Current Conditions return
