I don't mind Holiday Inn.We did stay in a hotel in Newport News,Virginia back in April of 2006.I don't remember what the name of it was,but it was absolutely disgusting.There were bugs everywhere,and the people who also stayed there were really rude.We were sitting in our room,and some woman just randomly came up to our window and looked it.That hotel was a very bad experience  :lol:

The hotel I went to in the Belmar area last summer (think it's a local hotel) was very well maintained and modern looking. :no:

Hampton Inn isn't that bad either, but the last one I went to, Scranton, PA, had satellite TV.  :dance:

I love it how Motels say they have cable tv when its actually satellite tv. :)

I looked into it for the first time ever that night I was in the Detroit area a couple weeks ago, and they had satellite TV as well  :no:

No, not usually. You just have to be specific when asking what service they have, as my dad and I were lied to when we first went to Ann Arbor. Ask cable/satellite, then what provider, then TWC channel #. Also ask if you can hook up a VCR to the cable.  :hammer:
