I'm ready to send another Customer Service form saying how much better the three hours of Weather Center was and that I certainly hope this is a temporary change. I'm also going to mention how old and stale all this long-form programming is. I don't know if anyone else wants to also do so.

I just saw an ad for the afternoon long-form block again today. Looks like we won't be getting three hours of Weather Center HD after all.

I think we need to send emails to TWC again. I don't see why we will just get one hour of Weather Center every weekday. To make matters worse, 3PM is when people get ready to leave work, and they want to know what the weather forecast is, not about the kid having his favorite shorts get ruined.

That's not going to work.  Having a couple dozen people send eMails is not going to do any good.  It would just be a waste of your time, unless "normal" (for lack of a better word) viewers are upset and decide to do the same.

I agree. And receiving letters over and over from the same people is probably going to upset them eventually.

We should all get proxies and pretend to be other people.

Although from talking to a few other folks, we're thinking (and hoping) that either Nick needs to rehearse more (since he's still shaky with the projector wall) or that the Weekend Outlook people need to rehearse. I guess we'll find out in the coming weeks. Of course, next week, we've got reruns of the special program Storm Session Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 2 PM ET, so maybe we'll see one hour of that followed by two hours of WC. Hopefully we'll get all three hours Monday and Wednesday, but again, you never know what to expect with TWC.

The most significant change in the addition of a new show called ''Sunrise Weather'' at 4:30AM on Saturdays and Sundays. Does anyone have any info on this show? This is the first I've heard of it.

Also, it looks like half-hour episodes of When Weather Changed History will air at 4AM.

Interesting. I just checked it out in zap2it.com. I can't say I've heard of "Sunrise Weather" before. I wonder if it will be a live program? And I wonder how the half-hour blocks of WWCH will work. Half the episode on Saturday, the other half on Sunday? 

Something about this just seems strange... 

Edit: Just checked TV Guide, and it has WWCH running for an hour at 4 AM ET, then Weekend Outlook starting at 5 AM ET.

DirecTV's guide is also showing the half-hour WWCH in that timeslot with the 3:30 - 4 AM CT block currently blank; my guess is that Sunrise Weather will appear in that block on the guide before long. I wonder what the thinking behind this move is - yet another low-rated, poorly produced show?

Question: The sun absolutely does not rise at 4:30AM.  Why would they name a show that airs at that time that name?

Hmm, that would be interesting. I figured they would keep the 4:30 timeslot for the apprentice OCM's to host solely.

Sunrise Weather has now popped up in the DirecTV program guide, but it doesn't show as being in HD.

Nope, just three hours of First Outlook branded as Weekend Outlook. I wonder if we'll see anything special Sunday morning with the main Hannah threat being out of the way.
