I assume by v1 you mean the one where it was just a continuously looping LF, so v2.

TWC documentaries or movies?

The Jr. is a budget model for smaller cable companies. It's text based like the I, II, and III, but uses the 4000's font. It was made in 1993.

General Discussion / Re: N. Korea's Strong New Threat to America

Kim Jong Il and the North Koreans are whiny babies looking for attention.  This isn't the first time he's threatened us...and won't be the last.

Problem for them is if they launched a nuke anywhere, Japan, China, and probably Russia would instantly nuke them.

My exact thoughts. North Korea isn't stupid. They know very well that if they launched a nuke, they could very well find several more coming at them.

Toledo probably has hotels, but then again, that's still pretty far west of LaGrange. BTW, when I saw the 4000, me and my dad were in a restaurant (can't think of the name) and one of the TVs was on TWC. It only seemed to use the LM flavor. (I just checked and it's about 2 hours on the highway from Toledo to LaGrange, so...)

Hey guys, I was the one that found the LaGrange 4000. I last saw it 1 or 2 summers ago with my dad when we were out there doing work. At the time, they had a local cable company that got replaced by Windstream. Hopefully sometime I'll be able to go back out there and see if they still have it.

I wonder what Wildfire will be like? It might be good if it's something like Axe Men or Deadliest Catch...

Local Forecast / Requesting STAR Jr info
« on: April 14, 2009, 08:25:32 PM »
Hi everyone.

I've been making changes to some of the WeatherSTAR articles on Wikipedia and thought of making a list of the remaining STAR Jrs in service, like on the 4000 and XL articles. If anyone knows for sure of any Jrs that still exist, could you please tell me the location and display location, along with any other important info? Thanks.

Nice to know there's still another one in service. I wish I knew if the one in LaGrange, OH was still there.
