« on: December 15, 2009, 09:36:58 PM »
it really sucks that you would have to upgrade to digital cable to get TWC now, thank god i got Dish Network, at least all channels are "Digital" and not seeing a lot of channel shuffling

Everything Else TWC / Re: TWC is now regretting being owned by NBC???

if u thought NBC U was bad, image if Viacom would have bought the Weather Channel instead. we would be forced to see crappy non-weather programming on there like CMT/VH1/MTV would show non-music programming or TV Land/Nick at Nite showing non-classic TV shows.

i wonder how long till "Attack of The Show" on G4TV fails this video for their "Epic Fail" segment.

note: if you watch Attack Of the Show normally, then you know what i'm talking about.

rap and Dr. Forbes, they don't mix.

Programming and Graphics / Re: Wake Up With Al

my thoughts on this. well, i think it just NBC Universal attempt to put their biggest star (one of their most well know personally) together with Al Roker, who everyone know is the weather guy for Network TV's #1 National Morning News/topic show, the Today Show.

if this does take off well this summer, then say goodbye to "Your Weather Today as an whole show and see Abrams and Roker do the whole 6-10 EST time slot, granted right now the time slot is fulled with YWT and the last hour of First Outlook. but i think when they change the line up this summer, i can see ether First Outlook to get screwed over and lose an hour or moved to 3AM ET-6AM ET (which is in my time zone 2AM to 5AM, since i live in Texas) to keep it's three hour live coverage in the early morning hours

anyway i would like to wish Abrams the best of luck with her new show. but if this does means she and Mike Bettis parts ways, then i'm in favor for Jim Cantore returning to an time slot where i can see him, because he's on YWT which is on when i'm in bed asleep.

the 1990's was when i started getting interested with The Weather Channel, then i moved to an small rural area after living in near by Greenville, I live in rural Campbell and the only way i got The Weather Channel was Satellite  anyway i quit being interested with TWC for an long time until i rediscovered it during Katrina when i went to an Garage sale in near by Commerce and saw an TV that was hooked up and on The Weather Channel and the people who live there where the garage sale was was watching the latest info on Katrina, and i saw TWC again when i went to an hotel to be in an safe place (because i live in an Mobile Home, which is dangerous to be in bad weather like thunderstorms/tornadoes/hurricanes) when Rita hit and North TX could had be hit too, but we in North TX lucked out on that. anyway after that the next time i watched TWC was in 2007 when i first got the Dish Network dish. and been watching ever since.
