Does that mean that the text of their severe weather warnings will be in lowercase letters too?

Tornadoes and Hurricanes both are harmless.

My preference is that they play it all the time but that's not gonna happen. :(

Yeah, deep down I have a grudge for that, but its still the weather channel. They're the reason I really watch tv anymore.
I miss the old version of the IntelliStar that lasted 2007-2013 also. Some lasted 1 minute, some 1:30 and some 2 minutes but not anymore. :( Also, an OCM isn't supposed to be the narrator for the local forecast. The radar graphics are terrible too.

Secretly, I still haven't forgiven TWC for their 2013 update.

You mean their update in November of that year?

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Charter Communications Discussion
« on: March 29, 2016, 09:12:32 PM »
It's kinda weird seeing how Charter is so far behind on the digital conversion compared to Comcast for example. Comcast went all digital here in Atlanta way back 6 years ago (Spring 2010).
At least I got to enjoy cable TV without it requiring a box over 4 years longer than you did.

BNA was Nashville. ATL was Atlanta. MSY was New Orleans. Tampa was TPA. CHA was Chattanooga. I believe ICT was Wichita.

i hope Dave beats this and i hope he found the cancer while at an energy stage of Cancer and not at stage four.
You mean an early stage. Cancer sucks.

Well in my area Charter was digital by July 2014. Have to have a cable box for cable. It no longer matter that your tv set is cable ready. It's very expensive too.

Everything Else Classic TWC / Prime Time Tonight
« on: February 27, 2016, 02:39:38 PM »
I started to put this in programming but was quite sure if it belonged there or here. Anyone (if you're one of the older members, age 30+) remember prime time tonight in the early 90s? I remember coming on in place of the J flavor local forecasts at :27 and :57 after the hour for a time.

Has anyone been keeping up with the severe weather outbreak of Tuesday and yesterday from the Gulf Coast to the Mid-Atlantic?
