Apparently he's the director of the Global Forecast Center. Didn't know he was still with the Weather Channel.I knew he was. He's just no longer an OCM. There are several people who were once OCMs, who are still with The Weather Channel, just not OCMs anymore.
Former "OCMs" like Dave Schwartz and Jeanetta Jones weren't meteorologists, but nobody seemed to complain when they were on the air. I don't see how this is any different.That school has an excellent broadcast meteorology program. They have an event there once a year in September called the Southeast Severe Storms Symposium, that I attend. It's real fun for weather enthusiasts.
Danielle Banks did complete the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University; this is the same program that Dave Schwartz completed.
