Thunderstorms don't have lightning and thunder.

Happy 27th Birthday, Michael!

I was a 4-month old baby at the time of TWC's debut 30 years ago, since I had just been born that previous December. I have been a fan for 23 of these 30 years.

I know that Bruce Edwards (Kolowinski) and Andre Bernier were very nervous when they first went on the air 30 years ago last night.

It's been 2 weeks since the last time I experienced a good thunderstorm. I'm wanting more thunderstorms here in the Birmingham area and am :furious: that they are not in the forecast. I hope we don't have a drought.  :fear:

I hope Mike Bettus doesn't experience any tragedies this year, like he did the EF5 Joplin tornado that killed 162 people last year. As you recall, that tragic tornado came on the heels of the April 27, 2011 outbreak, when Tuscaloosa and Birmingham were hit so hard by similarly violent tornadoes. :(

General Discussion / Re: Facebook's change to timeline
« on: April 23, 2012, 05:48:37 PM »
I started using Facebook in 2007 or 2008, and the changes that site have gone through would make it totally unrecognizable unless you lived through the changes as they happened.

Yes, everyone complains, but everyone also begrudgingly gets used to it.  That's the control that technology has over us now.  :)
I agree. The thing I wish would happen is that facebook would change all users to the timeline profile, so that all of my friends' profiles looked the same. I joined facebook at that same time and I have learned to get used to all the changes you are talking about, even though I don't like it.

Jeff Morrow seems have his own personality. He doesn't seem to act exactly the same as other OCMs do.

Where The Road Will Lead Us Now

You got that title wrong. There's no "now" on the end of the title. It's simply, "Where The Road Will Lead Us", which is track #9 on the album, "Weekend In Monaco".

I have 2 of their CDs. "Tourist In Paradise", (1989) and Weekend In Monaco, (1992). I love the music on both!  :D
