Would anyone happen to have his song, "Last Train Home", when it aired during the late 80s?
It's on TWC Classics.
Thanks for posting that.

Do you have to create a Google account to have a YouTube account now?  I had a YT account awhile back (and probably still do), but I can't use it anymore because I'm getting a notice that I need to create a Google account to link the two, and I do NOT under any circumstances want to create a Google account. :nono:
I don't blame you, I didn't want to create a google account, either, but thought I had no choice, because, yes, I think a Google account is required to have a YT account, now, unfortunately.  I never use my Google account for anything, although I have a back-up gmail e-mail adress, which isn't the one I use.

BTW, my number of subscribers is now down to 289 and continues to drop every day.  :(

Local Forecast / Re: Narada Christmas, Vol 1
« on: May 22, 2012, 06:35:09 PM »
Narada Christmas vol 1 is one of my favorite Christmas CD's. It is a compilation by various Narada Label artists. Here are all the songs TWC used:

Ukrainian Carol (Spencer Brewer) '93 and '94
What Child is This? (Peter Buffett) "94
It Came Upon A Midnight Clear (Tingstad and Rumbel) '89
O Holy Night (Lanz and Speer) "91-"93
Patapan (Nancy Rumbel ) '90
Return of The Magi (William Ellwood) 1991
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlmen (John Doan) 1991
I Saw Three Ships (David Arkenstone) 1988 - 2002 (except 1999) and beyond
Actually, "I Saw Three Ships" - David Arkenstone was 1989-1994 and 1999-present. John Doan's "God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman" was on in '89, as well.

Obviously for the same reasons you might see your friends list on FB decrease/increase: people defriending you, or accounts being deleted
I know. :fear: I just cringe when that happens because I don't like being unfriended or when my friends deactivate or delete their accounts, because I can't keep up with that they are doing anymore. Also, three friends blocked me, one of which initially unfriended me and blocked me three weeks later, two of these friends, however, continue to follow me on twitter. :dunno: BTW, my number of subscibers have dropped again. Down to 294, now.

General Discussion / Re: For those who still own VCRs

The best option is the get an RF modulator. If your PC has an s-video port you can connect that to the modulator and use composite to connect that to the VCR.
I think you only need that if your tv doesn't have those red, white and yellow places to hook those things with the same colors into.

General Discussion / You Tube subscribers...
« on: May 21, 2012, 06:22:43 PM »
This topic might not be very interesting, but the number of subscribers on my you tube channel have was once over 320 and has since dropped in 297. How could that be and does that happen to anyone else who has a you tube channel (with your own uploaded videos)?

Programming and Graphics / Re: 2012 Tornado Hunt
« on: May 19, 2012, 02:45:21 PM »
According to Mike Bettes' Facebook, the Tornado Hunt is suspended because of lack of Severe Weather.
We would rather have that than last year when Mike Bettus experienced first hand a tornado tragedy in Joplin, Missouri. I agree, though, I can't stand weather patterns that aren't conducive to severe weather and thunderstorms.

I know how to record from VHS tapes and copy them to DVD-Rs. In fact, that's how I get my videos on you tube.

I think Dr. Knabb's replacement should be Bryan Norcross. Congrats to Dr. Rick Knabb on becoming the director of the National Weather Service's National Hurricane Center.  That is a big honor.

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion
« on: May 07, 2012, 06:29:47 PM »
Here is what I think is interesting: TWC is celebrating 30 years of being on the air and TWC Classics is celebrating 15 years of being a web site - which means that TWC Classics started around the time that TWC was celebrating it's 15th anniversary. Has anyone ever thought of that?
