I am just sad we're about enter that post-New Year's Day period. The time after the holidays just seems very dull to me. I can understand some debate here, but I enjoy the holiday season, so when there's a long stretch without a true holiday, and when it's cold and usually dreary outside, it's just not fun.

During the Outback Bowl between Michigan and South Carolina about an hour ago, the referee screwed up determining whether a first down had been gained during a chain measurement. It was a critical call as Michigan had just ran a fake punt in the 4th quarter during a 1-point game!That bad call just fired up the Gamecocks and it paid off.
Michigan vs South Carolina First Down that really wasnt.
Fortunately, poetic justice was served on the very next play, and the commentary was hilariously biased.

South Carolina won the Outback Bowl in the final 11 seconds by a score of 33-28.

Knoxville, Tennessee's was TYS, which I am guessing is for Knoxville-Tyson McGhee Airport?

We get a cable channel, "Comcast Sports South" (CSS), and it still has the old Comcast logo on it.
