I don't like to double post, but has anyone seen the tragic tornadoes in Oklahoma and in Moore? Moore has been hit several times. Moore was hit very hard by an F5 tornado on May 3rd, 1999 and today, history has repeated itself. It's so sad and tragic.

I am watching TWC's live coverage of a tornado, they are showing a tornado live just north of OKC and it has exploded from a rope to a half-mile wide multiple vortex tornado, according to Jim Cantore.

Droughts in Chicago don't last very long. They only last about one summer and then the winter snow comes and they're out of it. I wish droughts were like that in the south.

They predict an above average season every year.  I think TWC wants an above average season, so they can overhype them.

It's official now. The NBA won't be returning to Seattle. NBA owners voted against investor Chris Hansen's bid to relocate the Sacramento Kings to Seattle. The vote was 22-8. It's a sad day for hopeful Sonics fans, including myself 

First of all, what happened to the Sonics? Lack of support by Seattle? I don't keep up with the NBA and haven't since the 1990s when Michael Jordan was playing for the Chicago Bulls.

I know this is an old topic, but I want to say that those are wonderful clips of classic TWC posted from May and June of 1989. I had just began to watch TWC on a regular basis in March of that year, a few months before these clips and I was in love with TWC at this point. Thanks for posting these!

2013 Hurricane Names (recycled from 2007)
Atlantic: Andrea, Barry, Chantal, Dorian (replaces Dean), Erin, Fernand (replaces Felix), Gabrielle, Humberto, Ingrid, Jerry, Karen, Lorenzo, Melissa, Nestor (replaces Noel), Olga, Pablo, Rebekah, Sebastien, Tanya, Van, Wendy

I remember all the original names on this list before they were retired. Not only this list, but the other 5 lists that they rotate, as well. Andrea replaced Allison in 2007 from 2001, which replaced Alecia in 1989, from 1983. Humberto replaced Hugo in 1995, from 1989. Lorenzo and Melissa replaced Luis and Marilyn in 2001, from 1995. Olga replaced Opal also in 2001, from 1995.
