The way google runs you tube sucks.  I have had a you tube account for nearly 4 years and although I have a google account, I rarely use it and forgot the password, but was able to change the password. Google forced me to create an account or else it would not let me access my you tube account, even though I already have a you tube account.

Not everyone had a google account, but should not have to create one in order to access their you tube account that they've already had a long time. This is just so unfair!

On the WeatherSTAR III, later 3000 after the 4000 came out, how would they select the specific locations on the "Latest Observations", "Conditions Across the Region" and Forecast Across the Region" pages, relative to the location you were watching the local forecast from?

Severe Weather / Severe Weather Season 2011/Severe Wx thread

As all of you well know, the 2011 spring severe weather season is right around the corner and I have a feeling that for most, it could be an active one, not just for the plains "tornado alley" but for "dixie alley" and other tornado-prone portions of the country, as well. I checked out the climate predictions center's site and there are indications that La Nina is beginning to weaken and when La Nina is in a weakening phase during the spring, it tends to be active. At least that's what my experience has been. This happened during the La Nina's of 1989, 2000 and 2008.

I don't know if it's just me, or are you tube's videos failing to play through smoothly? It's so annoying.  They used to play all the way through smoothly but not anymore.

I am sure you all have heard about the possiblity of ice, snow and sleet across the deep south for Sunday and Monday. Why are these kind of weather events so tricky, complicated and difficult to forecast?

The Weather Channel on my local cable system is failing to work. Since about 2:15 local time, it had many glitches, but for the last 10 minutes, it is not working at all.

Everything Else Classic TWC / Videos of 2 Simultaneous local forecasts from 2 different locations

Back on August 30th, 1987 during TWC's first ever special, "Eye of the Storm", 2 different local forecasts aired near the end of that program. I have footage of both from Birmingham, Alabama and Layne has footage of both from Columbus, Mississippi. I thought it would be neat to look at. Enjoy!
