noticed it is back on today 2/1/14. I have been using the SD channels for a while haven't checked but it is back on Love that real music is back as well during local on the 8's

IS2# 31669 (Arlington TX) has been out for several weeks. I have caught it trying to cue local on the 8s once but it went back to the national feed and has stayed that way since.

any update on this? this IS#2 is still out as of 1/11/14

IS2# 31669 (Arlington TX) has been out for several weeks. I have caught it trying to cue local on the 8s once but it went back to the national feed and has stayed that way since.

Looks like TWC is still working on the LDL and local on the 8s for the IS#2 Now my area has 6 cities in the LDL instead of 3 and they added the hourly temperature page to the local on the 8s today. Also now the backgrounds are different each local on the 8s instead of the original southwest look.

Now my IS#2 LDL has listed:
Arlington
Bedford
Denton
Grand Prairie
Grapevine
Kennedale

which are all Texas Cities on the LDL with Arlington being the Local on the 8s city which is whee I am located.

Intellistar 2 #31669 is still out as I am tying this been out for over a month now

It is back up

I think Time Warner Cable has been busy for the last month or so trying to get ready for adding additional DOCSIS channels for the internet so the Intellistar 2 was probably not being looked at or was not a top priority.

The same day that I noticed it came back up it crashed and has been missing since then and it has been frustrating having to watch the SD version of the weather channel for local info sigh. Been going now for almost 3 months.

Seems the IS2# 31669 is out again hopefully this can fixed asap. Really don't like having to watch the weather channel SD on my HDTV

This IS2 has been spotty. Was working late last month and then it has been having problems off and on was working at the beginning of the month now it is out again and has been for at least a week.

Does anybody know where TWC Star team went? my IS2 went out in may and has been down for about a month and his profile shows that he has not been online since june 5th? did he take a vaction?

They have stated before that they do visit the forums on a regular basis, but are not logged on while doing so most of the time.

well my areas IS2 was restored. It seems that they know about the problem that is plaguing the IS2s it seems to be a video board issue and they are working on it according to someone who got back to me via email from the weather channel.

No it has not returned yet. It feels weird not to have the local on the 8s in HD once you have them.


Also do you know if Time Warner Cable in Gunnison and Telluride Colorado has an IS2 as both of these cable systems have the Weather Channel HD?
