Programming and Graphics / TWC Programming; Time To Return To Weather Only

Over Hanukkah our family flew and got together in Texas. There were active tornado warnings there. We turned TWC on for information. As usual, we got STORM STORIES..about the Oklahoma tornado's in 1993. We were distressed, active tornado warning for us and TWC running a piece re 1993 weather. We had to turn into local TV radio and TV stations for our local weather warnings. We could have died. I brought up my complaint re TWC getting back to weather only, and to my surprise all my relatives were equally as disconcerted with TWC pieces rather than the current active weather. That's what we all tune in for is current weather......we don't tune in for WHEN WEATHER CHANGED HISTORY of world war II etc. Why does the weather channel waste valuable dollars on these productions only to irritate their viewership. Today my son is traveling by car in the midwest. Snow was predicted. I tuned into TWC twice in 4 hours to see his travel conditions. Again I got an hour STORMS STORY both times.....worthless for my needs today. So I checked Weather Underground on my computer and Intellicast Weather for the info I needed. I got it in 30 seconds. Its getting to the point where we use our computers for weather rather than TWC. Ashamed we used to rely heavily on TWC for current weather. It's got to cost more to produce these worthless pieces than to pay the staff to simply do continuous current weather, or run these pieces only when no import weather is occurring. I don't need the cutsie girls and boys with their high pay. Just give me a boring BBC type current weather reader. They could give us the weather we need!  Maybe things will improve with the  NBC and Blackstone V ownership. I hope they review their programing and return it the their original format of boring but helpful current weather conditions 24/4. In the interim me, our family and friends will continue to rely on on internet weather sources, local TV & Radio, and intentionally avoid TWC ADVERTISING SPONSORS. Maybe they will get the point.

I'M I ALONE REGARDING THIS COMPLAINT......OR DOES ANYONE ELSE AGREE? IF SO WHAT CAN WE DO TO GET OUR HELPFUL OLD TWC BACK?
