That's........ interesting,  and I thought my school had really weird people in it...

My middle school had lots of those types of people. 8th graders mostly, and they were turning 6th graders into them. And my high school maybe has one or two of those people, but no where near like that.

Well around 1 AM, I drank my first monster Energy drink ever. Never expected a rapid heartbeat like that. Thing is, because I can't figure out how to program recordings with this tuner (nor do I think it is that reliable anyway), I have to be in front of it for all recordings. I never sleep well at hotels anyways. But man, I can not imagine drinking several each day like some people do. That scared me a bit.

Aaron, there's a program called WinTV Scheduler and can be downloaded here. (must be a user of WinTV 6 though...)

WeatherSTAR Tech Support / DirecTV HD LF Error

Hi STAR Team,

I dunno if it's known since I just started seeing it this morning, but on a K Flavor (:18/:48), my HD DirecTV LF hasn't been cuing on the actual LF, it cues as the LF ends and one screen lasts 2-3 minutes at a time.

My receiver model is the DirecTV H23-600.

My DirecTV HD LF cued just as the LF was ending and is only changing screens when segments change on TWC.

Just a heads up...Hurricane Week airs the week of June 7th, and they'll be running two hours of long form in a row every weeknight. This leaves 7 PM ET, 10 PM ET, and 1 AM ET as the only live hours of Weather Center all that week.

That doesn't surprise me one that it's coming two weeks earlier than last week seeing how predictions are going for an above average season.

By doing some math, I got 25% of the screen for the LDA w/o the LDL. Did 640÷853 (tuner aspects, not TV) and got .7502931, which rounds to 75%. Subtracted 75 from 100 and got my answer.

I contacted TWC and Cox about both issues plus why we're getting Junction City and not a city like Lawrence instead. They fixed the Olathe/Junction City problem yesterday. The guy at Cox Tech Support emailed me back and said he'd forward the adding different cities issue to the engineers to see what could be done. A different guy with Cox Tech via phone told me all the Weatherscan Intellistars across the area were reading Temporarily Unavailable due to a "satellite alignment issue TWC is working on." Which I don't believe. Call Cox and report the problem. They see it as a "if only one person reports it then it's only happening with you." problem. If you call or email they're muchmore likely to correct it.

The Galaxy-15 satellite is passing under the AMC-11 satellite and it failed to stop sending signals, which will cause interference. Source here:

yup like last june's list.

Memorial Day last year was 6 days before the new list. But yeah, I hope it starts on May 31st. That was a surprise to me when it started a day early and an overnight song played on daytime.

I don't know if it's just me because my internet's been having problems on and off today, but has there been a lot of "An Error Has Occurred" 's for anyone else on the forums today?

Error logs seem normal to me. Just a few hits here and there.

Here's some snapshots to what I'm talking about. Dunno why I didn't Print Screen the computer ones. Mobile ones are on my DSi.

I don't remember the national crawl being activated last year. If it did, I'd have a video of it. They usually do that if a major hurricane or tropical system was going to come to a certain part of the country like Hannah or Gustav

Hanna was only a TS, Gustav didn't have one IIRC, and Ike had one. The one for Hanna said "TWC Update" and the one for Ike said "TWC Update" outside of Storm Alert, but while in Storm Alert, it said "Ike Update". I have a video:
