Thanks guys! I had a great birthday, spending lots of time with my family and grandparents!

Exactly. The public really needs to know what goes into making a forecast. It's also a school I once considered for undergraduate studies as I took a tour of the campus.Although, I've never heard of Millersville University. That's where our very own beanboy89 attends school, and has for 4 years now..
I could add so many more misconceptions to that video, Matthew. Here's a good one: "It's easy to make a forecast, so why do we need you?" Oh, if only you knew how many variables you have to consider just to nail the low temperature for tonight, and today's models still do not accurately account for a rather alarming number of those! Imagine how much more complex it gets when we add precipitation. The reality is that you're seeing the huge gap in education here, and it's something that needs to be addressed soon as weather becomes an even bigger factor in our technological society.

I saw the Ocala, FL IntelliStar (ID #22417) again today and its LDL cities were different than they were back in April.. they are now Ocala, Silver Springs and Gainesville. They previously were Ocala, Orlando D'town and Downtown Tampa. However, when I saw its almanac, the city on it was Leesburg.. doesn't Ocala have an airport of their own?I'm not sure...but the observation site that the NWS uses for the Ocala area is: Ocala Municipal Automatic Weather Observing. But Leesburg is a good distance away from Ocala, about halfway between Ocala and Orlando.
But I have to say, Jan/Feb was a very close second, almost a tie.
Happy Veterans Day everyone! Also, happy 11/11/11.In my Biology class, we all were staring at the clock at that time.![]()
Did anything special happen for you guys at 11:11 on 11/11/11?
