Hey just heard that The Weather Channel decided to axe "AltoStratus" from the Sept. playlist.  Apparently in favor of Equinox or something like that....perhaps we should write their music guy and request they reconsider "AltoStratus" I like that song. Don't quite understand but then again- it's not about music its about Weather.

I am a BIG Eddie Reasoner fan,  my Dad works for their publishing company, so I get to hear about whats coming up, thats how I know its gonna be on the Weather Channel come Monday......its very exciting to hear the new songs this guy comes up with.....he writes sometimes with a guy by the name of Gary Oleyar.....Oleyar does the violin, guitars and Eddie does the keyboards, melodies, arrangements and stuff like that....they really make some great music.   I'm pretty excited about this new one!!!!!!!! Altostratus......Dad said they almost called it another name but Eddie wanted to keep it with the Weather Titles which he likes...he's a very accomplished pilot you know.....I mean twin engine, commercial rated pilot guy....like flys the big jets kind of guy......very interesting guy......more than just a piano player!!!!!!  I'm a BIG FAN - he's a nice guy too!

Sorry, new to the site.....I was just sostoked when I heard this new song, I forgot about the other post a couple of weeks ago, yeah this song is different than anything Eddie Reasoner has done before...it has this middle eastern melody thing going and then some kind of violin thing and a groovin' beat and some incredible musicians.....finally some new music!!!! YES!!!!

Re: NashAngeles Music -  thats my Dad, Jack, I'm Jackson Jr.   and yes I'm a big Eddie Reasoner fan,  I love his music from the Weather Channel to all his songwriting and singing....I think he is going to be as popular as many top writers today.  His voice and melodies are as strong as any artist I've heard.  I went to the Norris Theatre and saw him live.....he got two standing ovations for his original songs which he sang and performed solo at the piano, I even requested he do "RainDance" from TWC and he did! The audience went nuts....they loved the songs.....so I haven't heard this new song "AltoStratus" but he told me it has a interesting melody and is upbeat.  I know he's been working in the studio both in Nashville and Los Angeles lately, plus New York too....Dad said his music is really becoming popular since they got the website up but also said they plan on putting lots of songs on the site.   Anyway, thanks for such a great site......I looked for a board on Weather.com but I couldn't find one is there one?  Thanks Jack

Eddie Reasoner just informed me that a new song "AltoStratus" will be airing on the September playlist on TWC.  He should have a preview listed soon on his website: http://www.eddiereasoner.com - the songs are under the music tab along with previews, all of his great weather channel hits are there and I heard that they are all available for a .99 download.  Complete hi resolution Mp3 versions! Yea!   I even found Mountains of Unaka there!   Hope he gets the new song up soon and I also heard that if you request the songs the weather channel people will consider adding to their monthly playlist.

Hope this is of interest to all you Eddie Reasoner fans like me!
