General Discussion / Re: Allen Jackson narrations
« on: April 29, 2010, 03:52:46 PM »
I may actually have to get to it this weekend. I have a lot of sound files to isolate and publish. Coincidentally, I just found a silent local forecast from earlier this month, when looking through my clips. I should probably send the files through individual PMs to users, since Martin is pointing out legal issues.

Please pm me once you've isolated each clip I'd really appreciate it. There is no big hurry. It's prefered that all clips be the saem quality but that's really not a big issue, so long as i can get them. Thanks a mill.

@Localonthe8s: Oh no, that is merely a coincidence...I promise! I actually had no idea there was another Hurst tied to the music so that's news to me.

@wxntrafficfan yes please that'd be awesome if you could upload them. Not seeing where video rips are illegal, but alright. It's like saying that those songs I uploaded on my site are illegal when no one knows who made them. One can only speculate, and who cares anyway? TWC is REALLY going to come to my door? I don't think so.

General Discussion / Allen Jackson narrations

Hey guys I'm looking for the complete Allen Jackson narration set. I'm sorry for the duplicate thread here but all the boards i've found here are from 2008 and like most of the resources I've clicked on, either topics/links are broken or have been removed and so I said screw it and made an account. I downloaded the wuwa app.zip but that has most of the narrations teperatures etc but I'm looking for other such as where he announces the days etc as well as other announcements such as "a severe thunstorm warning is in affect for your area" and other things. Let me know if anyone has these.  Thanks in advanced!

Oh boy. For those of you who've been looking for all of the weatherscan music from 2003 to present, search no longer. There are 40 tracks in total, not including Trammell's 39 song set. This is the archive of unknowns tracks so download and enjoy. they're in pretty high quality and are mono although some tracks were edited to remove the voice narrations. Speaking of which i found a thread on here that someone had an archive of the Allen Jackson voice narrations and the thread was removed or something i couldn't get to it. Anywa here is the zipped archive for those who wants it

http://www.hurstaudioproductions.com/weatherscan_collection.zip 134 MB

That email is still active, actually, it's more like 24/7 active. I've got him added on aol messenger and he rarely goes offline but he replies when he feels like it. I've been honored enough to actually have a conversation with him and he through in a bonus disk too! He outlined to me, since i am a music junky, how he produced those songs.
