She looks great with short or long hair, two good examples right here.

I saw her last night. She does look different with that Rihanna blonde hair.  :P

I thought she looked quite different with reddish hair.

Her hair was even more blonde before she cut it short in that top picture.

Much like Carl Parker, Kim is also getting the lower third label of "Hurricane Specialist" when she's at the Expert Desk.

Kim seems to know what she's doing on-air usually and she's been working in the field a lot longer than many of the other OCM's TWC has now. I guess that title works for her attm, given the situation.

She mentioned once during Debby (?) she used to be a hurricane hunter before she started at TWC.

According to Mark Elliot and based on what I've been seeing the past few days, Kim is now a Storm Specialist and a Hurricane Specialist.

OK, I think Kim does a good job and congrats to her, but why do we need more Storm/Hurricane specialists?  TWC seems to be going overboard with that title lately - pretty soon everyone is going to be referred to as a Storm Specialist or Hurricane Specialist.

I think the title is rightfully given to Kim. She has enough meteorological experience, especially with her background with the Hurricane Hunters, to be called a "specialist."

Agreed.....I have seen her on TWC since at least 1991.  You'd think just with that experience alone, she has studied a lot.  Combine that with her work in the Air Force and Hurricane Hunter.  Both fit.

....and she's a Cincinnati native!
