Or Andrew Korus, all thoguht his song is on BMI. I wonder why he only has 1 song?

Yeah he's a bit different. I'm talking about artists who don't have a BMI or anything else. Its like if you were to send some of your music to TWC. You don't have any publicly available music, nor do you have a BMI, but TWC could play your music, and none of us wuld be able to get it becuase your virtually unknown.
I do have a BMI account, but i dont think i activated it.

Probably not, because it isn't free (although money doesn't appear to be an issue).

Michael Ripoll isn't like Randall Chowning or Justin Hayes. He is somewhat known. He has a website, a myspace, and a couple CDs out. Except Miss Libby isn't mentioned anywhere.

No, i have a writer acount. Writers do not have to pay for anything. BMI is totally free in this case.

So let's say I'm making 6 songs all of 'em in a cd called "Thunder Presents". Twc could play these songs!?

If you send them the cd, and if they like your songs, yes.

They could.

I remember Gil said he was going to compose music for TWC, and keep it unavailable from everyone else.

But the good thing about BMI is that they have to pay you royalties. so if you have a BMI account, you'd make money. But if you didn't, then you'd get nothing.

Do they pay each time they play a song from BMI?

Money wouldn't be an issue for me. I'd be making music because I like to, not because I want to get rich from it. In fact, I would probably have a full time job and only do music on the side.

I believe it goes something like that. It depends on licensing i guess.

If a good song is on Bmi, how much would it cost to license it. Must be a couple thousand of dollars I guess. How does Kyle afford to license?
