On Dish Network's LOT8, the LOT8 logo is now in the upper right hand corner. Is that a sign of this to come?

No, it's been like that for about a month or so. I don't think this has anything to do with the new feature.

Here's my video of a one minute LF from my house tonight. Pretty much everything went wrong with this, from trying to download it to trying to process it, so I wound up having to use Billy's method instead:

Argh, the Local forecast application HAS NOT been launching for the past hour.

But the local "On Demand Version" is working fine. Like the graphics!

Let me guess; the preemption was probably messing with something since it wasn't the regular schedule. I wonder exactly what they use to cue the DirecTV boxes...

Well, there is problaly a Control PC between TWC and DirecTV... Since the LOT8s arnt always on the true :8's the Control PC problaly decodes the VBI, and then converts the cue signal to something DirecTV understands, which then cues the box.

Instead, I will stay w/ DirecTV until the prices are too high
If DirecTV is too expensive for you, then Comcast isn't for you either. We're paying as high as $250 a month for digital cable and high speed internet service.
really? Mine's like only $150 a month... wtf extra service are you paying for?

Here in marlton, we have Digital preferred package with HBO on one TV, expanded basic on two other TV's, and high-speed internet. In Bensalem, I have expanded basic on all of the TV's, high-speed internet, and digital phone.

Holy moly :o

I've never heard of someone paying $250 for cable. That's just absurd.

Hmm that sounds about right. For premium internet (20mbps/3mbps) and digital cable with several HD DVR boxes and service the bill i up to about 150. With your telephone and extra services I can see you having such a high price
