11:06 PM = Intellistar cued way too early
Wish I had a WeatherSTAR 4000. Brings back memories.

There's a LOT8s bug with the ad too. Not sure if this is related.

That is the DirecTV IntelliStar cuing the Local Forecast.

OK.

When it's seen on the normal Satellite LF, is it cued by the IntelliStar or TWC?

Maybe I should've worded that differently...

That is the IntelliStar-generated DirecTV local forecast. It is cued by TWC the exact same way any other STAR is cued.

edit: Sat LF at 11:58 PM ET.

12:10 AM = Intellistar Local Forecast running over commercials

BTW I think that is what looks like degradation (IntelliSTAR Style)

for some reason it seems like someone in the master control room is manually triggering the local forecast when commercials begin.. best guess though..

you would think that someone in that room would notice on one of their monitors that the local forecast is playing outside of the typical time..
