3:58 PM CDT. Blank station ID at :57. I assume this is only affecting my STAR, seeing as no one else has posted yet.

Edit: No black bar during programming. My STAR must be down or rebooting.

And that answers a few things...

1) Yeah, the emergency feed has the new look.
2) Yeah, it still says "Additional forecasts at weather.com" in white underneath the LDL; the "weather.com" text underneath the logo is blue on the Daypart and 3-Day products.

It looks like they've completely lost the live studio broadcast. Oh well, that's a wrap on live programming, right? (Unless they went live earlier; I wasn't home to watch)

Hmm, you'd think that we would hear Trammell and not complete silence during that outage. I wonder if yesterday's satellite LF update somehow broke the emergency feed/Trammell music?

I thought the same thing as well; although I do believe the emergency feed has played in the past without music.

Video of the outage from last night:

Please excuse the crappy quality; it was pulled from VHS tape.

Satellite LF at 3:00 PM ET. There was no audio for Weather Center, so they flipped over the the silent emergency feed. I have a feeling that the recent satellite LF update broke the Trammell music. :(

Edit: On the satellite LF, none of the cities are reporting low temperatures for today.

Trammell finally kicked in at 3:12 PM ET.

Good to hear Trammell back. This error probably led them to realize it was broken.

BTW, low temperatures are invalid on the satellite LF system after 4 or 5 AM ET (can't remember which).

I guess you cable people are only used to seeing the satellite LF during the overnight when things usually break. :P

At 12:58 and 1:08 PM ET, the satellite LF kicked in at the beginning, before reverting back to my Intellistar. Everything was delayed after that.

At least I could see the new graphics, rather than looking at Youtube cramping them down.

Haven't seen one of these in quite a while... Satellite LF at 4:08 AM ET.

Edit: Hmmmm, my IntelliStar just cued during the commercials at 4:14 am.

Satellite LF at 1:48 am et. Then IntelliStar cued about 10 seconds late. Also saw the satellite LF between the radar and radar/satellite screens on the IntelliStar.

Saw the satellite LF (with DirecTV/Dish LDL) on a TV screen in a home during a Weather Ready segment that aired at 6:44 PM ET. :P

It was obviously an old segment, as it was the old August 2005 version with old icons.
