My XL broke once in 2008 and showed the satellite forcast. The XL got fixed when that hurrcane hit Texas(don't know when) If you got this or something else happened let me know!
You have an XL? What is your cable provider, just to see if I have that provider in my area.
Its Comcast and im sure its around the Boston area if it is... Boston has TWC on 47 and WxScan on 245 ;)
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Ok, I know there was an XL listed in Mass. on Wikipedia, that's probably it.

There has to be a reason for this, but what could it be? :dunno:

Some Intellistars in the Northeast still had Wind Chill Advisories/Warnings still fed in the system (which expired at 11am) but the Satellite LF was cued to fix the error.

Not really. That was just a coincidence. That may explain this one isolated case, but it certainly doesn't explain all of the other xx:08 Satellite LFs that happen on a fairly regular basis. Furthermore, a sighting of a Satellite LF on cable is not a cue of the satellite LF itself, but a failure of the cable STAR to cue.

HD LF failed to cue at 12:38pm, causing the emergency feed to come up on the HD channel

Emergency feed, or just the satellite forecast?

....emergency feed.

And the emergency feed is up again at 1:08pm ET... Before you all go asking "are you sure it's not the satellite feed" it's playing Trammell. Thank you.
