Like I said in that video, it's probably just how the headends rely on the signal. Do you have digital or analog cable in both your houses?
Oh okay, I am at school so I don't have any way of knowing you commented. Anyway, the set-up is the same for both my mom's house and my dad's:
Downstairs, in the living room, the cable is originally connected to the cable box, which is also connected to the TV in that room. My TV tuner and any TV upstairs is connected to the closest cable jack in the room.

So, you must be right, in that it is probably the headend. I still don't understand how that would cause the music to sound different. Do you ever notice any differences in how the music sounds between your Mt Holly and Lower Bucks headends?

Something weird...the 8:08PM local started out with the Now/4city/4city start without narration.  Narration was on...the Radar segment and all following were narrated.

Hmm, it started with the Front Page CC with the E.L. headend, but I too noticed no narration at the beginning.

I do like that Along the Way/Hughes seems to be playing a lot at 8/38 with the non-narrated CC screen...that song has a nice intro that gets muddled up with the narration over it.

The narration wasn't heard most likely because there wasn't enough time for all of it to be heard. Just like how it was like on the old one-minute flavors when there was a weather bulletin.

Well, we are beginning the first weekend after the flavor changes began.......
Is there a set of flavors for the weekend? I notice that every :08 and :38 LF opens directly to the 8 city 'guesses' segment.

The one minute :08/:38 forecast is a lot like the XL's one minute flavor from 2002-03. The only exception is that the radar displayed after the week ahead instead of after the current conditions.

I think they might be testing a few new flavors on my STAR. I'm only seeing the radar at :28/:58, and the :18/:48 flavor was weird: Metro CC, Almanac, Metro Forecast (2), 48 Hour Local, Week Ahead.

Really? A radar showing continuously for two minutes?

The :28 flavor here started with the local obs instead of the metro map like before.

No. He means that the radar is only showing during the :28 and :58 LFs, and it's not showing during the other LFs.

I've been seeing that flavor here as well, Tyler, from 10am-2pm, IIRC.

Hmm, let me take a look. I sure hope the radar at least displays on other flavors during events of precipitation.

I'm still getting the radar here, but that's because there's rain nearby.

There was a 2min flavour until 11:08am. now the locals are 1 min except the :28/:58 ones.

Well, I am really curious to know how this is affecting the XL or 4000. I am going up to Mt Pleasant tomorrow, and I certainly hope to find an XL. Were all these flavor changes only meant to affect the Intellistar?

Jeremy told me the XL flavor's are unaffected.
