Actually, in certain areas, the lack of Current Conditions makes sense because this is one STAR for a whole metro area.

Oddly enough, there's even a non-suburb on the Phoenix map (Komatke; it's on the Gila River Indian Community that abuts the Phoenix area to the south: if you come from the south on I-10 to Phoenix, it SLAMS into you.)

I think they should still start out the first frame with some type of narration like "The Current Conditions in our area". It just seems weird with nothin in there.

There is in fact a phrase that was already recorded for the IntelliStar that was never used called "Local observations around our area," or something to that effect. Now would be a great time to use that narration.

I thought so. If so, it would be perfect for them to use it.

Well, the 1:28 PM EDT LF started with the 8 city 'guesses' pages with the E.L. Intellistar. Evidently, people with traffic products are not the only ones who see this.  :o

I am not able to keep up with all these different flavors. I like the concept of trying out new flavors, but I am still trying to understand it.

Well, I am real fortunate in regards to the amount of TWC I am able to watch at school. While I can't ever watch it in class, I get to watch a half hour during lunch (10:48 AM EDT-11:20 AM EDT), and at least 1-2 LFs between 1:28 PM EDT and 2:00 PM EDT.  :)

TWC is among the few channels in my school's TV system. I am only able to watch it once in a good while.

A few years ago, I was surprised to find out schools can have cable TV. I never thought a school would get cable simply because of what it is.

I seem to be noticing that there are some discrepancies between the Lansing and E.L. Intellistar units. Namely, the music sounds remixed and different as compared to the Lansing headend.

Here is a video to exemplify this:

I honestly don't understand this, as to why the music sound different on the E.L. headend as opposed to the Lansing headend. I have no idea why, but this is driving me crazy.

Like I said in that video, it's probably just how the headends rely on the signal. Do you have digital or analog cable in both your houses?
