Here are some things TWC should do:

1. Run the LDL during commercials and make the commercials smaller.
2. Make the 36-hour forecast a more graphical product...think the old Extended Forecast. No Vocal Local.
3. Stop promoting an entire infomercial of sorts in your Lot8s openers.

OK, so this may be answered somewhere in this thread (because I haven't read through all 6 pages yet), but why in the world is the CC screen going away??? <_< To me, that seems like one of the most important parts of the Local Forecast.

I guess they figure that the LDL takes care of most of that information. I'm glad they chose to keep it at the :28 and :58 though

Yeah, not liking the new change. The CC slide is the most important slide.

as I've said before... you'll get used to it and will learn to adjust once the next change you don't like comes along......

Yes but in the meantime they DO have the right to their opinion, positive or negative.  B)

I don't know if I just missed a few seconds, but I think the 1:28 PM EDT LF opened right to the 8 city guesses page. I also don't recall hearing narration for the radar while i was typing this. Wow, only a 24 hour text fcst with another 9 second pause before transitioning into the week ahead. Wow, this is definitely going to take some getting used to.

That was a weird one... at :38 there was no 36-hour forecast. Jeez.

From 10am-2pm eastern the :08, :18, :38, and :48 LFs are only a minute long, and the :08 and :38 LFs don't show the text-based forecasts.

I can't wait to see what changes those are to the IntelliSTAR

one good Addition would be a feature that would allow the viewer to choose to turn the narration on and off during a forecast.

I meant more lineup changes. And that "addition" is impossible to add. :footinmouth:
