Yes there is. It can be seen in all shows except for WUWA, YWT, WC (I assume just the Cantore/Steele one), and long form. :yes:

So let me get this straight: there are now 5 LDLs.

For SD,
one is small
one is big
one is the old blue used on the IS

For HD,
one is small
one is the big one that shows the 5-day forecast (like that)
(and technically there's six...including the LDL on the HD National Feed)

You have the 5 LDLs part correct. :yes:

1 LDL is for warnings (the ones we've seen since August 2005); one is for LFs (the blue one we're most familiar with); one is on the HD feed (during all shows except for WUWA, YWT, WC (Cantore/Steele only), and long form); the small SD one is only on WUWA, YWT, WC (Cantore/Steele only), and long form. The large SD one is on all other shows.

So when the small LDL is used for SD, no LDL is used on HD. :wacko: This is probably easier to understand than I'm making it out to be, but I wish TWC would just stick with one LDL. :hmm:

The large LDL in SD is great for bulletins and warnings, but I personally prefer the smaller LDL in SD for showing general information as it seems just right to me in terms of spacing. :yes:  The LDA combined with the 5-day LDL in HD just takes up way too much space.  I even wonder if the remaining picture you see fits within SD screens. :hmm:  I don't think that HD configuration could stay up for long without some people complaining that it's too cluttered.  That's just my fast opinion as I was looking over everyone's snapshots and videos of it along with what I saw on my end, and TWC definitely needs to do something with that vertical blue bar as it was pretty easy for me to spot in HD. ;)

I think it would be neater to see the warnings flash up and scroll on the big LDL itself.  I'm sure it won't happen, but it's just a thought.
