I'm dead tired of Terminal Frost after hearing it hundreds of times last summer :P Nice to see CYHMK, Oscillate Wildly, Pluality, and Love of Strings back, although Oscillate Wildly is more of a morning or daytime song as opposed to evening. Station 6 is also a great song that I've been wanting to capture for awhile.

One thing that questions me though, how come when they used Layla in July 2009 it had Eric Clapton under the artist, but on all the other playlist it had the band he was with at the time, Derek and the Dominos?

Is it just me or does Early Evening by CC Gilmore sound similar to Joe Sample's Born to Be Bad (from Feb 2000 playlist)? They are two great songs, BTW.

I can confirm this song is not Bay City by Patrick Yandall. And I sampled the David Benoit songs from the new album and it's not it either.
June/July 2010 Daytime 8


It's a good song though. Maybe TWC will correct the error

This song sounds like something Ursula Suzana Pacheco (sp?) would make if you ask me, but I'm probably wrong.

Yeah, I just uploaded a double take of it. I love the song, but as stated above, it does not belong on any playlist that spans any daylight hours.

I like Boney James, but I want to hear others besides Stone Groove, Nothin But Love, and Touch. Play some of his Ride and Trust songs that have been featured on TWC during its heyday!

I agree. Sounds more like R&B/Funk in a way. Wish they would play some new jazz song in the primetime slot besides Boney James or reuses from the past.
