Here's the Update i got from Steve Ivey of IMI regarding the Music Store and more

Hi
The Weather Channel Music site will be launching in 3 weeks.
We will be featuring the smooth jazz and those artists you have enjoyed over the years as well as expand the music very widely.  We will begin immediately with other styles of music and many well known artists also.

Alex told me to pass this along:

We are not running the music that airs on the network although we will make musical contributions to that playlist on occasion.  We will mainly be working with the artist that are played on air (as well as many other artists) and making their music available for download and sale online at TheWeatherChannelMusic.com which will launch by the end of the month.
