Here's the Update i got from Steve Ivey of IMI regarding the Music Store and more

We are not running the music that airs on the network although we will make musical contributions to that playlist on occasion.  We will mainly be working with the artist that are played on air (as well as many other artists) and making their music available for download and sale online at TheWeatherChannelMusic.com which will launch by the end of the month.
