HD City by City side bar Info.

Am I the only one are there others that don't like the "City by City side bar"?

I don't like it at all.  It takes away the true HD viewing of the weather channel/studio.

Also with this side bar, the lower bar takes up lot of the screen, and now the viewing area is really crunched into a small picture... :-(

There is plenty of space for a horizontal bar where TWC leaves a space for the ldl. Perhaps one day soon that will change

I know Tyler said awhile back that an HD LDL is in the works, which I'd assume would be an addition to the LDA. TWC is just trying to be like any other news channel, lots of data being presented at once

Good!!!   I was worried that I was the ONLY one that hated it!   LOL

I wonder if anyone from TWC is looking at this, or have had people calling in on this!?     I have to admit, I don't watch the TWC as much since they throw all this crap on the screen.  When it came on the air, I watched it non stop just to enjoy the weather in HD...

I Love that new bar, ever since it debuted i watched the weather channel more often! I wonder why they don't dhow the time any more, they should. By the way i like the bigger one better, besides they can just squish the veiw so it's still full. Saying that they should at all times show the big bar and in the vacant space to the left they should show the current conditions (and all the information on the "now" section there instead) much like weatherscan. So then they can place the time where the temperature was.

Well, Done I see the time is finally on there! I still think the view should be squeezed to size so that the big bar can be shown at all times, especially during programs. They should still think about my idea of putting the "now" section in that vacant space to the left where it can be just like weather scan. Think about my original idea even though i like how it is now.

I really really hate it now!   Ughh..  Now I have to buy a 100" TV and cover up the  city by city to enjoy the show itself.

I watch it before I go to bed in our bedroom, and our TV is not huge, so now it's hard to see the map.

WHy don't they do the city by city like they do on the local on the 8?  (directv)

Its a it annoying although you don't see too many anyway in the bottom area if they weren't covering it up
