Christmas/Holiday 2010 Playlist

This is why some of you guys (not you Zach) shouldn't be pelting TWC with emails to start the list early...they started early and now we get a half-assed list.

Seriously? You think TWC actually listens to any of you in regards to starting these playlist? I think you are lucky if they even look at an artist someone recommends. I can't believe you think the playlist would be magically better if it started a week later. How can you tell by looking at a list of songs that it was rushed.  The Weather Channel could care less what a niche group of music fanatics think about their playlists.

So what? What does that have to do with anything? Maybe they just didn't want to have a morning playlist or didn't want to use over 40 songs so they decided to revert back to the way it was. That doesn't mean no effort was made into putting the list together. I really think you're grasping for straws on this one.

Guys, could we please stop all the arguing?  That's not what Christmas and the music is supposed to represent.   Some of you are taking this music battle way too seriously.  Music is supposed to be enjoyed, and no one can please everyone.  Even if TWC heard all your requests, they have the final say on how it's made, period.  You guys aren't the only ones listening to this playlist and making requests to TWC.  You all should be thankful that we even have a holiday playlist as others here mentioned it was entirely skipped for a couple years in the past.

Good list, but it's missing a song.  And even I'll complain to TWC that it's not playing.

The playlist is not the same without that one. The only years that previously that it wasn't on the playlist was from 1995, through 1998. You must be refering to "I Saw Three Ships" by David Arkenstone. Are we all sure that the this list is complete and that all songs on the playlist are listed?

Linus and Lucy on back-to-back local forcasts.  That song is played too much.

I have no complaints about the Christmas playlist. It is fine as it is. However, a song I would like to hear again is December Snow by Dover, which hasn't been played since 1998, I think.

Then, explain why over half of all these indie artists made it to the recent playlists? That's all i'm going to say warn me if you want.

Why would I warn you? Its not against the rules to have different opinions. It's all good!

I like Linus and Lucy!!!  That is not only a classic TWC Christmas song, but a classic Christmas song period.

yeah, so far Linus and Lucy played on :08, :28 and :38. This was the first Xmas song I vividly remember hearing on TWC. The others were Eddie Reasoner's Snowflake, Michael Colone's Ice Fairies, and David Arkenstone's "I Saw Three Ships"

Yeah, I remember Snowflake playing vividly several times early Christmas Eve. I wish I could get my hands on the full version of it somewhere.
