April 2009 playlist delayed!

A TWC representative told me that about the Feb playlist.

Whoever said that has no idea what they're talking about, which is not very surprising

NBC is looking into how the music works and wants us to continue the current list for another couple weeks while they think about what the plans are going to be.

Uhhhhh...it plays behind THE ONLY REASON THIS CHANNEL STILL EXISTS IN ITS CURRENT FORM.  Clearly NBC doesn't understand this.

(Like they understand anything, anyway.)

Bottom line...the March playlist will run for this month.

They probably will. With the way NBC is changing things at TWC lately. While they're at screwing up TWC, while don't they lay off Jim and all the other good OCM's, change their name The Weather Channel, to The Weather Net, dump all of their local forecast systems and use weather plus, and screw everything else up and make TWC ratings go down like a rock. 

NBC needs to stop screwing up TWC and get some seniority. If they do one single change to the music and replace it with their stupid, worthless production music, I'm going to snap like a steel wire cutting someone in half..

Let's just say I would be extremely shocked if they didn't keep the music.  NBC knows that the LF music is popular enough that two "Best of Smooth Jazz" CD's were released to the public by TWC.

I just hope they don't end up using production music on the LF's. Wouldn't be surprising since they did that with Weather Plus, but if they use the same music company on the LOT8's as they did with WX+ I'd have no problem finding the music.

Me neither...but TWC isn't that good anymore since October 2008 IMO thanks to that stupid weather bar they show for sereve weather (Not the LDL; The one on the lower middle screen).

April 2006 playlist wasn't combined... it was similar to March's, but it wasn't the same. There were a few songs added in April such as Soul Fruit by Brian Hughes and If I Ever Lose My Faith by Greg Adams.

April 2007 wasn't combined with any other month either, though May and July playlists were respectively combined with June and August.

I know, but TWC listed the April playlist as part of March which wasn't the same except for Apr 05 I believe.
