According to Portland's NWS website, it looks like they now issue small craft advisories separately (for hazardous seas, rough bar, winds, etc.) instead of together as one advisory  :hmm:
That advisory was usually only for waves or winds, but they wanted to add more marine hazards to that product and separate it out for the public.

It sure doesn't seem like spring outside right now for me. :P  I'm ready to move on from winter as well.

Temp wise, it doesn't feel like spring. But the longer days are already giving me a spring feel. I can't wait for daylight savings time. Our snow chances aren't done yet either. I love snow but I just want winter to end already.

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

I'm so glad it never snows here along the southern Washington coastline   It snowed a lot during the past winters back when I used to live in Spokane. There was so much snow that I couldn't even dig out my own car so that I could go run errands. Now those days are over for me since I don't live in Spokane anymore.

Of course, there was an occasional nasty windstorm here in Long Beach during the past few months, but at least I don't have to shovel or dig out my car from 12+ inches of heavy wet snow   B)  :P

You've made something obviously clear: I need to move to Spokane. Your snow pain would be my snow paradise. :D

You'd be extremely lucky if you lived up here. Not only does Spokane a lot of winter snow, but they also get almost every type of weather event, such as an occasionally summertime thunderstorm (some may even be strong or severe) and even blowing dust. In short, I guarantee that you'd be smiling year-round if you ever moved up here

I'll put my post below you now as I saw a mistake with what I said.

Victor, DST begins on the second Sunday of March, so it'll be on March 10 at 2 AM local time.

I can't wait for DST to start. I hate seeing it getting dark so early.

Normally I would complain about losing an hour of sleep Sunday morning, but my spring break happens to fall that week

Also about the HPC renaming... can't say I'm a fan of that. Not professional, then again I know NOAA is trying to be more simplistic. I just hope this isn't a sign of future consolidation of NOAA branches like some are predicting.

I'm trying to upload a video to yt on my android and every time I do that it asks me to enter password for my old YT account. There is no option for me to sign out it just says Google Sign In and my other gmail account is grayed out while it asks me to enter the correct password. How do I change this? If I remove gmail from my phone, will it delete my entire gmail account?
