In every year in the past, stations started the xmas music at Thanksgiving. This is the earliest for my area atleast :foolish:

WBEB is playing Christmas music already. Why so early? They don't usually start until the week of Thanksgiving. :blink:

They just put up the giant Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Center. Geez, can it get any earlier? :rolleyes: After Thanksgiving would've been a better date.

It seems to happen around this time. I don't start caring about the holidays until well into December. The holidays end for me on my birthday, on January 13.

Does anyone think TWC will roll out Christmas LF music sooner this year?

The "Christmas" season starts on December 1st, people. :rolleyes:

I'm seeing those Home Depot and Lowe's ads already,and I'm getting sick of it.

Can't we just start the Christmas season in peace by starting it on 12/1?

Trying to decide whether to post this here or in the PBS. Anyways, has anyone else noticed an explosion of car commercials on TV lately? Now they've started "Christmasing" them up. Hate to tell 'em, but NO ONE is going to be buying a car this Christmas.

My cousin is actually a car salesman. The dealership that he works at has been doing very poorly this year. :no:

All car dealerships have done poorly this year. Many around here have gone belly up.

EDIT: Speaking of car commercials, you know what really peeves me? The auto industry is asking the government for bailouts because they have no money, yet somehow they still find money for all these commercials. Real odd, that.  :hammer:

I was at the mall yesterday, and they have several Christmas trees and ceiling decorations scattered throughout the mall already. :rolleyes:

I doubt they'll make more money over this. Would they lose listeners if they start it earlier and earlier? I don't see why one would want to hear Christmas music already in late October/early November.
