Its not that I dont mind but I end up being sick of it by the time the Holidays arrive. And when it hits 12am on December 26 these stations rush to shut down any holiday music. For crying out loud the time right after Christmas counts as the holidays. Thats when I DO want to hear the music. This station in my area started November 7.

IMO, Christmas music should start in the first week of December. People are already putting christmas decorations in their houses for display.

I haven't heard any Xmas music yet, but I'm seeing the commercials for Christmas sales and decorations from Walmart and Kmart, which isn't that unsual. I was at Target last Saturday and the first floor had Halloween decorations and the second floor had Christmas trees and decorations.

I was so gonna make a thread about this a few days ago! Yes, it is incredibly commercial now. It's unacceptable on just about every level. People only care about gifts now.

Society sucks. People suck. The government needs to step in and do something. :ermm:

Haha yea. We wish. The goverment encourages people to spend money at Christmas. In the end it will help the goverment. Dont think there going to step in anytime soon.

One of the stations here have been playing Christmas music since the day after Halloween. Ridiculous.

I also started seeing Christmas ads for stores like K-Mart two weeks ago.

What happened to a holiday I remembered called Thanksgiving?  :dunno: Thanksgiving gets no recognition these days.

It is also worth mentioning that it's Christmas. Not "Holidays".

I don't understand why you all seem so surprised that this is going on.  Doesn't it do this every year :P
